Our story

In 2008, a wine bar inspired by Spanish lanes, vino tinto and tapas opened in the very building in Rheingasse where the city's first consumer association once met. Just a few steps away from the Rhine. Consum soon turned into the place where people from Kleinbasel and all over the world came together. Today it is both a wine bar and a boutique hotel.

Your visit

Located between the historic Mittlere Brücke and the lively Claraplatz lies Rheingasse. In summer, the terrace is vibrating with Mediterranean flair, while in winter people are strolling through Adväntsgasse with mulled wine.
